Charters from Marina de Vilamoura — what to know.

1. Where exactly does the charter leave from?

   Marina de Vilamoura — pontoon location confirmed once your booking is in. There is paid parking on the marina, restaurants on the dock, and a fuel station for the boats.
2. How far is Marina de Vilamoura from Faro airport?

   About 25 minutes by car. Most international guests fly into Faro and Uber straight to the marina — no transfer needed.
3. Do I need a boat licence?

   No — every Vilamoura charter is fully crewed with a licensed captain. Some of the smaller fleet boats can be skipper-optional on request, but the Sunseekers are always crewed.
4. Can we reach the Benagil cave from Vilamoura?

   Yes. Benagil sits about 50 nautical miles west — roughly 90 minutes each way on the Sunseeker Predator 72. We recommend a full-day charter (8 hours) for a proper Benagil round-trip with time at Marinha and Carvoeiro.
5. What is the signature Vilamoura half-day route?

   East along the coast to the Faro lagoon and the Ilha Deserta sandbanks (45 minutes), anchor for a swim in clear water, then back into Vilamoura. Quieter than the Benagil run and excellent for families.
6. What is on board the Sunseeker fleet?

   The Predator 72 and the wide-body 82 carry Williams jet tenders, paddle boards, snorkel kit, a sound system and air-conditioned cabins. Hostess service, a chef and premium drinks are available on request.
7. How many guests can come?

   Sunseeker Portofino 46 takes ten; Portofino 53 takes twelve; Predator 72 carries fourteen; the wide-body 82 carries up to eighteen for a private event.
8. When is the best time of year?

   June through September — the Algarve south coast is one of the warmest, most reliable summer climates in Europe. May and October still give you 21 to 23 °C water with much quieter docks.
9. What is included in the price?

   Captain, fuel for the published route, soft drinks, water, paddle-board and snorkel kit, and full insurance. Catering, a chef and premium beverages on request.
10. Can we host a birthday or private event?

    Yes — the wide-body 82 and the Predator 72 are the most popular event boats. Up to 18 guests, full deck space, music and a DJ on the larger boat.
11. How quickly will you reply?
