Yacht charters on the Tagus — what to expect.

Departures from Doca de Alcântara, Belém and Marina de Cascais. Private, crewed, never shared.

1. Where do Lisbon charters depart from?

   The main departure points are Doca de Alcântara (under the 25 de Abril bridge) and Belém — both five minutes from central Lisbon. For the Cascais coast, departures move out to Marina de Cascais.
2. Do I need a skipper licence?

   No. Every charter is fully crewed with a licensed captain included.
3. What does a typical Lisbon charter look like?

   A half-day on the Tagus runs upstream past Belém Tower and the 25 de Abril bridge, then out past Bugio fort to the Estoril coast and Cascais bay for a swim. Full days continue south to the Arrábida cliffs.
4. Can we charter for a sunset on the Tagus?

   Yes — sunset charters of two to three hours are the most popular short option in summer. Cast off around 18:30, golden hour over the bridges, back into the dock as the lights come on.
5. What is included?

   Captain, fuel for the route, soft drinks, water, paddle-board and snorkel kit on most boats, and full insurance. Catering and wine pairings on request.
6. How many guests can come on board?

   The Lisbon fleet runs from an eight-guest Beneteau Flyer 9, through the Bali 54 catamaran for groups of eighteen, up to the Falcon 82 Fly for larger private events.
7. Is a catamaran better than a motor yacht?

   For a stable platform and shaded deck space — yes. The Bali 54 is the steadiest boat in the Lisbon fleet and works well for families with small children, large groups, and yoga or photo shoots. For speed and range to Cascais, the motor yachts win.
8. When is the best season?

   April to October. June and September give you 22 to 25 °C water and quieter docks. July and August are warmest and busiest — book early.
9. Can we host an event or photoshoot on board?

   Yes — the Falcon 82 and the Bali 54 both carry private events for up to 18 guests. We have hosted product launches, intimate weddings and editorial shoots.
10. How quickly will you reply?

    Bruno typically replies on WhatsApp within an hour during Lisbon business hours, and within twelve hours otherwise.
